Todd Rice joined the Blue Ridge Realty and Investments sales team in 2004, following a successful ten-year career in the hospitality industry.  He previously worked in Convention Sales and Management with Grand Hotel, Hyatt Hotels, and Hilton Hotels Corporations in cities including Dallas, Denver, Chicago, and New York.  Todd enjoyed his work in the "big cities", although decided to return to his hometown of Boone, NC to pursue entrepreneurship with business interests in Real Estate and development.

Todd Rice has an extensive comprehension of the Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Linville, Banner Elk, and West Jefferson areas.  This knowledge coupled with his customer service experience has enabled Todd to fulfill the particular needs of his customers. Todd is a member of the Yonahlossee Racquet Club and has experience and knowledge within the Yonahlossee Resort community.  In addition, Todd is well familiar with Sunalei Preserve, and other communities within the High Country.  Real Estate focus areas for Todd include: Residential Homes, Luxury Properties, Land, and Commercial Properties.  Todd also has experience with Student Housing, Foreclosure Properties, New Construction, and Home Renovations.  In-conjunction with Real Estate, Todd has a Professional Property Service Company.   

Todd Rice is a current and active member of the High Country Association of REALTORS, and member and designee of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS).  As a REALTOR, Todd is licensed in both NC and TN.  Todd is also an Eagle Scout, member of the Boone and Blowing Rock Chambers of Commerce, member of the Watauga Sailing Club, and member of the Boone Rotary Club.  Todd has been a guest speaker to the Appalachian State University Center for Entrepreneurship.  Todd is a previous member to the Board of Directors for the High Country Association of REALTORS and previous member to the Board of Directors for the High Country Conservancy.  In 2010, Todd won the People’s Choice Award for Best Real Estate Agent in the High Country.

Todd, his wife Tuesdae, and son Thomas live between Boone and Blowing Rock with their 2 dogs and 2 cats.  Tuesdae Rice has been the Executive Director for the Downtown Boone Development Association from 2005-2010, and a Teacher of Business and English at Caldwell Community College in Boone, NC.  Tuesdae is also on the Academic Advisory Board for Caldwell Community College.  Todd and his family are fans and supporters of Appalachian State University Athletics and Performing Arts.
